Tony M. DiTerlizzi is an American fantasy artist, children's book creator, motion picture producer, and illustrator. This hour, Mike sits down with DiTerlizzi to discuss his carrer, and the stories behind his many illistrations.
You may know Tony DiTerlizzi because of his contributions to the classic adaptation of The Spider and the Fly or through his work on the Star Wars franchise. This American fantasy artist’s work is on display at the Mint Museum in an exhibit called Never Abandon Imagination.

It will showcase a collection of some of DiTerlizzi’s iconic work. It features more than 150 of DiTerlizzi’s original works, as well as highlighting the early years of his career as a designer for Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering.

Tony joins us to talk about the role imagination plays in creativity, and how his work has been shaped over the years.
