Charlotte Talks: If You Think There's A Lot Of Streaming TV Now, Stay Tuned

The battle for your eyeballs - and money - is intensifying. More streaming platforms. More content. But how much is too much in the so-called golden age of streaming?

At the current pace, NPR TV critic Eric Deggans predicts television "will be completely different come this time next year."

Apple and Disney are weeks away from pressing play on their new streaming services, and AT&T are not far behind them.

But how many streaming services are customers willing to pay for? A survey of digital media trends found that consumers, on average, have three streaming subscriptions, but they also have "subscription fatigue."
