TV actor/comedian Mike Birbiglia is in Charlotte as he begins the national tour of his Broadway show “The New One." We talk about comedy, how family life inspires his work and more.
His shows have been filmed for Netflix. He’s been in movies, and also shows like “Orange is the New Black”, and Showtime’s “Billions”. He’s a New York Times Bestselling author and you may have heard him on public radio, where he’s a contributor to This American Life.
Now, comedian and storyteller Mike Birbiglia is in Charlotte as part of the national tour of his show “The New One”.
“The New One” was Birbiglia’s first Broadway appearance and now Charlotte audiences have a chance to see his unique, personal stand-up routine that is actually more of a play.
