School starts in just a few weeks, and no matter what districts across North Carolina do to reopen, this year will look different. Public radio stations from around the state are coming together for a back-to-school special.
As part of our special collaboration, Mike Collins talks to state Superintendent Mark Johnson to ask your questions about going back to school.
We'll also talk about what teachers and other school workers are facing in going back to school. We'll talk about children's mental health as they weather a new school year with many changes. And we'll hear what some college students in ther region are dealing with across the state.
Listen Wednesday, Aug. 5, at 9 a.m. for our special statewide special, co-produced with WUNC in Chapel Hill, WHQR in Wilmington, WFDD in Winston Salem and Blue Ridge Public Radio.
