With a 1-1 draw against Tampa Bay Sun FC on Saturday night, Carolina Ascent FC clinched the 2024/25 USL Super League Players’ Shield, awarded to the team with the most points at the end of the regular season. Carolina will enter the 2024/25 USL Super League Playoffs with the No. 1 overall seed, earning home field advantage for the semifinal match against the No. 4 seed on June 8.
