NTSB investigating Mooresville explosion

The National Transportation Safety Board sent a team of four investigators to Mooresville after a chemical explosion at an industrial park yesterday (TUES) left one person dead, and another person injured. Mooresville Fire and Rescue says a cleaning chemical sodium hydroxide ignited inside a tanker truck at Carolina Beverage Group on Barley Park Lane.

Officials say the truck’s driver was killed, and a plant worker was injured.
