Showcasing thirteen iconic musical themes from Clint Eastwood's films, Eastwood by Eastwood is led by the highly respected American jazz bassist and composer Kyle Eastwood, Clint's son.

Highlighting themes from Eastwood films such as Gran Torino, Letters from Iwo Jima, Bridges of Madison County, Changeling, and Flags of our Fathers, the project has solidified Kyle's place as a highly respected musician and composer.

Join The Voice 2022 runner-up Wendy Moten as she celebrates the music of Bill Withers, Dionne Warwick, Stevie Wonder, along with standout songs from her time on The Voice. Wendy is accompanied by the Christian Tamburr Trio, a group that has been through the Davis Theatre with artists Shana Tucker and Jane Monheit in past Seasons. This high-energy contemporary jazz, R&B, and soul performance will have audiences on their feet and singing from the heart.

Distinguished Leaders in Action Lecture and Networking Reception

The Distinguished Leaders in Action Lecture Series provides the McColl School of Business and Queens University’s campus community with an opportunity to interact with and be exposed to a variety of leaders with varying leadership styles and experiences. The lecture events are hosted in an intimate setting where the audience can ask questions and hear personal and professional leadership experiences from our guests.

Lectures begins at 6:00pm and a networking reception will immediately follow.

Created by leading voices from around the world, the Knight Theater Series brings together an evening of movement that speaks beyond words. The program features the return of Crystal Pite’s Solo Echo, a quietly stirring reflection on love, loss, and acceptance, expressed through intimate, emotionally resonant choreography. Artistic Director Alejandro Cerrudo, born in Spain and shaped by global influences, returns to the studio to create his second new work for the Company, offering another window into his distinctive artistic voice. A third work, Cerrudo’s Silent Ghost, completes the evening.

Celebrated saxophonist Sharel Cassity brings her all-female ensemble, Sharel Cassity’s Alliance, to the JAZZ ROOM for a special Women In Jazz edition in celebration of Women’s History Month. A DownBeat “Rising Star” known for her commanding alto sound and fearless artistry, Cassity leads a powerhouse group performing original music with vision and vitality. Expect an inspiring evening that highlights the brilliance, creativity, and impact of women in jazz.

The JAZZ ROOM provides a casual and intimate setting with tables and a full bar, reminiscent of the classic jazz rooms of yesteryear.
