SouthBound: Micah Cash On Viewing The Waffle House From The Inside Out

No matter your culture or upbringing, at some point, if you live in the South, you wind up in a Waffle House.

They're a filling station for working people, a place for old men to sit around and argue, a cheap date, a late-night hangover cure. A couple of  years ago, photographer Micah Cash became fascinated with the Waffle House and what it represents – especially when you’re on the inside looking out.

That led to his new book, "Waffle House Vistas," published by our friends at the Bitter Southerner. Here’s our conversation with Micah Cash.

Let's keep the conversation going. Who do you want to hear from next on the SouthBound podcast?
