President Trump has given Gov. Cooper a week to confirmthat the planned RNC in Charlotte will be allowed, with the threat that he’ll move the convention if the Spectrum Center can’t operate at full capacity. We’ll talk about what could happen.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg School Board approved its calendar for next year this week. The new calendar includes a start date of Aug. 17, but it’s unclear exactly “how” the school year will begin. We’ll talk about what both families and administrators are saying.

And the investigation into Sen. Richard Burr’s stock trades continues. We’ll talk about where that stands.
