The United Way's Jane McIntyre United Way of Central Carolinas has had a long line of shake-ups, beginning with the pay and benefits controversy that caused former Executive Director Gloria Pace King to be forced out two years ago. Since then, the agency has been rebuilding itself, making many changes, and trying to rebuild trust with donors in the region. New Executive Director Jane McIntyre will join us to talk about the struggles the organization still has, including year-round campaigning to try and meet tough fundraising goals, new bylaws created because of the pay controversy and we'll also talk about the recent million-dollar gift by the Levine Foundation.
