Former POW Col. Lee Ellis

freedomstarmedia.com

When we look at our nation’s leaders, it sometimes helps to understand their perspective if we know what experiences influenced their leadership philosophy. With that in mind, we welcome Colonel Lee Ellis, a retired Air Force pilot who was a POW for over 5 years at the infamous Hanoi Hilton during Vietnam. He says that what he and his fellow prisoners experienced there tested their courage and honor… and while imprisoned, they applied important principles of leadership that made the difference between life and death in the camp. Ellis is now applying those principles not only to teaching others how to lead, but in showing voters which candidates will lead with honorable principles in government. Leadership Lessons from the Hanoi Hilton, on Charlotte Talks.

Guest:
Col. Leon "Lee" Ellis
- author of Leading With Honor: Leadership Lessons from the Hanoi Hilton and founder and president of Leadership Freedom ( a leadership and coaching firm) and FreedomStar (a publishing company.) He is in town to speak at the SouthPark Rotary and the Myers Park High IBP program.
