“Green” building and development used to be practiced only by those concerned about the environment but today, it makes great business sense. Energy efficiency and environmentally conscious construction is becoming the norm and designers, developers and builders are being recognized for it. In fact, one organization is handing out awards for this region this week and we will take a closer look at what’s being done here, by whom and assess its impact.
