The extended drought means lake and river levels are low and with low levels come increased concerns about water quality. With fall upon us, weather patterns may change but, in the meantime, we get an update on the state of our rivers and lakes from the perspective of the Catawba Riverkeeper. We’ll talk about drought, water consumption, our dependence – economically and otherwise – on water and get updates on coal ash, storm water and more.
