We are already a few weeks into the annual flu season and everyone is being urged to get their flu shot. If you recall, last year’s vaccine was only moderately effective because of a virus mutation. As a result, flu cases rose. What’s the outlook for this year, for the vaccine and for the severity of the flu season? We find out from Mecklenburg County’s health director and a vaccination expert.
