The election of the Dans is underway and, in advance of Election Day, we talk to Democrat Dan McCready and Republican Dan Bishop running in the North Carolina 9th District.
The never-ending race in North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District is about to end – for a while. Democrat Dan McCready has been running for 27 months and lost a squeaker last November only to have the election overturned due to alleged election fraud. This time he faces Republican State Senator Dan Bishop.
This race has gained national attention and is also seen as a bell-weather for November 2020. Money has been pouring in and candidates have been running ads that have been mostly negative, but we’ll try to cut through all that and talk with both Dans about healthcare, guns, immigration and more.
