For the first time in nearly two decades, Charlotte has women’s professional basketball again. The Charlotte Crown is bringing the sport back to a city still remembering the loss of the Charlotte Sting.

For the first time in nearly 20 years, professional women’s basketball has returned to the Queen City. The head coach of the Charlotte Crown joins us to discuss the team’s inaugural season. We also examine the latest on the Hurricanes, Hornets, soccer and other sports when we take a timeout for sports.

Dawn Staley has shattered expectations at every level of women’s basketball. She’s an Olympic gold medalist, WNBA All-Star and considered the architect of the South Carolina Gamecocks women’s basketball team. She joins us to discuss her new book, "Uncommon Favor."
