Biketoberfest is Sustain Charlotte's signature event! It's a one-of-a-kind community adventure that's uniquely Charlotte. Explore the city, experience its diverse neighborhoods, visit local businesses and organizations, and discover the people, places, and experiences that capture the spirit of Charlotte.

Whether you're riding with friends, bringing the kids, or making it a solo adventure, Biketoberfest transforms Charlotte into one big scavenger hunt. Using our mobile-friendly event platform, you'll navigate to featured destinations throughout the city, complete fun challenges, and explore Charlotte at your own pace. Ride your bike, walk, or combine your adventure with public transit. There's no wrong way to experience Biketoberfest!

The event ends on a high note with an after-party at Triple C Brewing, where participants can enjoy live music, food and drinks, local vendors, our limited-release Biketoberfest collaboration beer, and raffle prize drawings.

Biketoberfest will be October 11, 2026. Ride time will be noon to 4:30 p.m. The after-party at Triple C Brewing Co. will be from 4:30-6 p.m.

Now in its 12th year, this one-of-a-kind community adventure invites you to explore Charlotte’s diverse neighborhoods, visit local businesses, and discover the people, places, and experiences that make our city special.
Whether you’re an experienced cyclist, a casual rider, or simply looking for a fun day outdoors with family and friends, Biketoberfest is a memorable way to experience Charlotte while supporting Sustain Charlotte’s work to create a more equitable, connected, and healthy community.

The purpose of the showcase is to expand our mission by increasing visibility, strengthening
community engagement, and growing our outreach through local artists.

Our Mission is:
To actively promote and educate individuals on a variety of economic and health topics including mental health. Our goal is to help develop through our film, arts & science programs educational content that can be used throughout life.

We will showcase short films from local filmmakers and have 1 speaker on Breast Cancer and another speaker about Mental Health. We have vendor opportunities available (limited spots) and light refreshments.

Completing the evening is a new creation by German American duo FLOCK, inspired by the phoenix and humanity’s enduring love of storytelling, exploring themes that continue to resonate across time. Together, these works deliver a captivating performance in an intimate setting alive with energy, emotion, and moments that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

DINOSAUR! has made their way back to CSC! Get ready to come face-to-face with jaw-dropping fossils, thrilling prehistoric discoveries, and hands-on Jurassic fun for explorers of all ages.
