The Mastersons On Mountain Stage

Mountain Stage
The Mastersons.

The Mastersons' members make their first appearance on Mountain Stage, recorded live on the West Virginia State Capitol grounds. The husband-and-wife team of Chris Masterson and Eleanor Whitmore were seasoned musicians in their own right before joining forces after a chance meeting at a Colorado festival.

Soon, they combined the skills that won them work with Regina Spektor, Bruce Robison, Son Volt and Jack Ingram — and before long, they were gaining a following of their own. As a testament to their musicianship, the two are still in demand as backing performers. They've worked extensively with Steve Earle's band The Dukes, and are regularly featured as performers in his tour. Their new album is titled Good Luck Charm.
