Cavalia and Shakespeare Project


Part One: Cavalia We'll hear about the state-of-the-art horse show that's opening in the Queen City this week, Cavalia. We'll talk about the founder's experience in Cirque du Soleil that led him to create this show, which is getting rave reviews all over the country. WFAE News | 'Cirque' on horseback debuts in Charlotte Part Two: Shakespeare Anniversary Project April 23, 2016 will be the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death. A unique center of learning at UNC Charlotte will honor that anniversary by staging, in some form, every one of the 36 plays in Shakespeare's canon. The Shakespeare in Action Center will also conduct sonnet readings, workshops and other special events. We'll talk with the architect behind this ambitious project, called 6 in 36, and learn more about how he intends to do it.
