Embark on a fascinating journey through the skies and cosmos in the interactive aerospace exhibition Above and Beyond!

Above and Beyond celebrates the incredible innovations that have shaped flight – from the earliest dreams of the Wright brothers to today’s space exploration and tomorrow’s cutting-edge aviation technologies.

Explore the frontiers of air and space travel through immersive simulations, hands-on design challenges and dynamic storytelling that brings the history and future of aerospace to life. The journey begins in a wraparound immersive theater, then expands into five themed galleries featuring dozens of interactive stations.

Civics 101, sponsored by the League of Women Voters Charlotte Mecklenburg (LWVCM), offers a comprehensive look into the structures of city, county and state governance for Charlotte.
Seven-evening sessions, one-evening-per week, can be attended either in-person or online. Panelist include elected officials, administrators and media representatives.

To date, Cookies for Kids' Cancer has funded more than 140 research grants which have made a direct impact on kids' lives. All proceeds of the evening will go towards our mission of funding research for new, improved and less toxic treatments for pediatric cancer research.

From stand alone apps to sophisticated computer programming systems, it is used to replicate cognitive processes in almost every industry and academic discipline. Like human intelligence, AI can analyze, organize and dispense information super quickly—even faster than what humans can coordinate individually. Why AI in the humanities and earth and social sciences? Because it has profound implications on how humans choose to use and be affected by the technology. Times and locations vary through the week. My Breast Friend's Wedding is a women's networking and fundraising event benefiting The Go Jen Go Foundation, a local Charlotte non-profit which provides direct financial assistance to those in our area facing breast cancer. Wedding attire (any type) is encouraged; let's fill the room with brides on a mission to raise money for this local cause. Tickets and sponsorships starting at $250 are available. The event includes a silent auction, wedding cake, champagne, wedding favors, dancing, a bouquet toss, and more.

Witches Night Out at the Waverly Wine Walk is a night of fun, shopping, and wine. Explore participating boutiques while enjoying special offers, discounts, and swag. Guests are encouraged to wear their best costumes for a chance to win giveaway prizes.

Tickets are available for $20 early bird and $30 regular. All ticket sales support Carolina P.A.W.S., an organization dedicated to helping abandoned and abused cats and dogs find loving homes.

Each ticket includes a swag bag and wine pours at participating boutiques, including Athleta, Urbane South, Ivy & Leo, fab'rik, Mainstream Boutique, and Scout & Molly's. Check-in takes place at a yellow tent by the splash pad on The Terrace at Waverly, located in front of the Hilton Garden Inn.

Safe Passage is excited to present "It Takes a Community" Domestic Violence Fundraiser, an event to raise awareness and funds to support our domestic violence programs. Join members of our community on October 23rd at the beautiful McBryde Hall, Winthrop University for an evening of amazing food & drinks, transformative information, live and silent auctions, and an entertaining game of heads and tails!

On October 23, Southern Charm’s Shep Rose & Austen Kroll will host Carolina Charm — a one-night-only, Bravo-inspired event in Charlotte benefiting a life-changing cause.

This high-energy girls’ night out will feature signature cocktails, VIP lounges, interactive brand activations, and a live auction, all to directly support fertility preservation programs for children fighting rare cancers at both MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital and Atrium Health Levine Children’s.

Partnerships are now available. A limited number of individual tickets and group table packages will go on sale in August.
