A 15-year-old was arrested and charged with murder in the death of 13-year-old Avenanna Propst.

A second teenager has been arrested and charged with murder in the fatal shooting of 13-year-old Avenanna Propst at Concord Mills Mall on Dec. 28, police said.

A 15-year-old, whose name was not released, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and felony riot, Concord Police said Friday. The teen is an acquaintance of 18-year-old Dontae Milton-Black, who was arrested Jan. 1 on the same charges.

Propst and two teenaged boys were shot during a fight outside the entrance to Dave & Buster’s at Concord Mills Mall, according to police. The three who were shot were not involved in the fight, police said.

The investigation into the shooting is continuing to identify others who might have been involved, Concord Police said.
