Police say two people are dead and a third severely wounded after a shooting in southwest Charlotte on Sunday night.
Someone called 911 just after 9:50 p.m. to report shots being fired in the 2900 block of Reid Avenue, which is off West Boulevard. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say that when they got to the scene, they found two people severe injuries. Both were rushed to a hospital. A third person with life-threatening gunshot wounds was also taken to a hospital by someone else.
Two of the three people, 29-year-old Keith Fitzroy Rivera and 28-year-old Kawon Markus Hoover, died overnight.
