Mayor Vi Lyles joins Mike Collins for another of her regular "Mike and the Mayor" appearances. And we're joined by Charlotte City Manager Marcus Jones to talk about the city’s proposed budget for the next fiscal year.
Jones will discuss details of the proposed city budget that he presented to Charlotte City Council on Monday night.
We also talk with the mayor about other important Charlotte topics, including the rising number of homicides in the Queen City and the shooting last week at UNC Charlotte, as well as last month’s release of body cam footage in the police shooting of Danquirs Franklin.
