Central Prison, Raleigh, N.C.

The United States incarcerates more people than any other country in the world. Many of those in jail will eventually get out of prison but what happens to them then? Life after prison can be difficult. One of the biggest challenges is finding a job.  Without work, many people end up back in jail. We talk with a Charlotte organization that helps prisoners transition back into society and hear from a former inmate about his life on the outside.

Guests

Myra Clark - Executive Director, Center for Community Transitions

Erik Ortega - Program Director, LifeWorks!, Center for Community Transitions
