'Not My Mother's Journey'- Breast Cancer Twenty years after Heather St. Aubin lost her mother to breast cancer, she learned that she would also have to fight the cancer battle. She beat it, twice, and wrote about her experiences and her reflections on the differences between her breast cancer and her mother's throughout the ordeal. She's compiled that writing into a new memoir and joins us for a discussion about how she and her family coped and lived with her cancer and what she's learned about the disease. We'll also hear about some of the latest breast cancer research and what we know now about breast cancer that we didn't just a couple of decades ago.
