Math Educators Compare Notes

It’s no secret that the U.S. is falling behind the rest of the world in math education and many of the worst performers are in low-income schools. But CMS is working with some math innovators to make improvements and inspire kids to learn. One of those programs is “Heart Math Tutoring.” It uses volunteer tutors and they’re making a difference. Another is an experimental program using statistics to help kids learn.
