Tony Zeiss: Retirement And Legacy


When Tony Zeiss arrived at Central Piedmont Community College 23 years ago, it didn’t resemble the institution it is today and that is largely because of the push Zeiss gave CPCC to lead the city’s efforts to become a hub of global commerce, to be a national leader in workforce development and to expand the school’s reach throughout the county. As Tony Zeiss prepares to retire, we talk to him about that development and what he sees for the future.
