Panthers face final roster decisions after preseason win

The Carolina Panthers have less than a week to decide which players will make the team's final 53-man roster.

Carolina looked sharp Friday night in a 34-17 preseason victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Panthers will close out the preseason Friday night when they host the Houston Texans at Bank of America Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The deadline for NFL teams to reduce their rosters to 53 players is Saturday afternoon.
