NPR this month named Bay area-based Ruby Ibarra as the winner of the 2025 Tiny Desk Contest. Here at WFAE, we wanted to recognize some of the best Charlotte-area submissions again this year — and announce our local favorite.
We pored over dozens of submissions from the Charlotte region, with artists representing nearly every musical genre, and while we varied a bit in the voting for second through fourth place, we were unanimous in choosing Florecita as our local favorite this year!
