This immersive concert brings audiences inside iconic game worlds through sweeping choral sound and projected gameplay and cinematic capture. These scores aren’t background music, they are the emotional engine behind epic stories, impossible odds, chosen families, and final battles.

Join us for our free, family-friendly Roots in the Garden concert series celebrating live music and community in the heart of Boone!
Closing out the season is TANASI, an award-winning Asheville-based “worldgrass” trio uniting three acclaimed roots artists: Billy Cardine on dobro and slide, MerleFest-winning songwriter Anya Hinkle on vocals and guitar, and Mary Lucey (Biscuit Burners, Uncle Earl) on vocals, upright bass, and clawhammer banjo. Recipients of a 2025 National Endowment for the Arts USArtists International Grant, the trio has performed on stages including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Ryman Auditorium, Bonnaroo, and MerleFest.

The annual concert series also features visual artists, with their work auctioned off at the end of the evening.
Admission is a $5 suggested donation. All proceeds will support the Gardens’ mission to promote the benefits of native plants and healthy ecosystems, and provide a community green space in the heart of the High Country.

Isn’t it time for a little JOY? “Dauntless: An Ode to 2916” combines theatre, immersive art installations, and music to explore joy as a community shield and a weapon.

The show invites you to explore rituals of joy that float through the history of 2916 Parkway Avenue in Charlotte from 1933 to 2026. Follow the life of Martha’s Daughter and her family. See how joy keeps them together over the decades, even in times of trouble – from birthday parties to dancing in the kitchen at midnight. Immerse yourself in the joy of the big and little moments that bind us and find your own joy along the way.

During this 55-minute show, you’ll walk through an Enderly Park home with just nine other audience members.The performance and show environment will surround you, blurring the lines between audience and participant. Don’t miss this intimate, immersive theatrical experience that promises to wrap you up in that joyful feeling.

Fresh off their MerleFest debut, Nashville-based DownRiver Collective is an IMBA Momentum Award-winning bluegrass band on the rise. Combining powerful harmonies with thoughtful songwriting, the group crafts a sound that bridges traditional bluegrass and folk with elements from classic country, Americana, rock, and modern pop.

Music and memory tell a story of hope and resilience commemorating 25 years since 9/11.
The Rev. Dr. Stuart Hoke shares his firsthand account of September 11, 2001, recounting the shock, grief, and extraordinary resilience he witnessed at Ground Zero while serving as the executive assistant to the rector of Trinity Church Wall Street. As thousands fled lower Manhattan, Trinity Church became a refuge where music offered comfort amid unimaginable loss. Interwoven with Hoke's storytelling, musicians from 7th Street Concerts will perform works inspired by the events of 9/11 and themes of remembrance, hope, and healing. Featuring string quartet, oboe, piano, and organ, this immersive evening explores how music can sustain us through tragedy and illuminate our shared humanity.

Ball in the House brings high-energy A Cappella, blending R&B, soul, and pop with tight harmonies, beatboxing, and crowd-favorite hits. As one of Boston’s longest-running vocal groups, they perform nearly 200 shows each year and have spent almost three decades educating and inspiring students nationwide. We're excited to welcome them to the Davis Theatre and Students Take Part in the Arts.
