A second man has been arrested in the killing of a pregnant woman in Charlotte more than five years ago.
CMPD said Wednesday it arrested Antonio Jennings, 37, and charged him with the murder of Ondrea Stevenson, 19. The department said officers found Stevenson with a gunshot wound the morning of December 4, 2013 while responding to the Little Rock Apartments off West Boulevard near the intersection with Billy Graham Parkway.
According to police, someone shot into an apartment, hitting Stevenson who was sleeping on the couch. She later died at the hospital.
CMPD arrested Carlos Knox, 33, in March and also charged him with the murder of Stevenson. Knox was also charged with murder of an unborn child and possession of a firearm by convicted felon.
