Politics in North Carolina has been heating up all summer long, even drawing national attention—negative attention - in the form of a New York Times article titled The Decline of North Carolina. Moral Monday protests in the state capital have been happening since April, and approval ratings of the governor are reaching new lows. We'll talk with some of the political scientists and columnists keeping a close eye on North Carolina politics to give us some insight on what's happening in Raleigh and what may be coming up in the weeks ahead, when Charlotte Talks.

Guests

Dr. Eric Heberlig- Associate Professor of Political Science at UNC Charlotte
Dr. Josh Putnam - Visiting assistant professor of political science at Davidson College
Rob Christensen - Political Columnist for the Raleigh News and Observer
