Tucked away inside a Charlotte office park, the Invisible Histories Project is building what may be the South's largest LGBTQ archive. Its collections include drag costumes, political posters, love letters and a World War II diary documenting Southern queer life through the decades.

The UNC System's equality policy states that no employment position can speak on behalf of the university on social policies or “political controversies of the day.”

Time Out Youth says it will distribute $200,000 this year to help LGBTQ+ youth in Mecklenburg County pay for housing and other urgent needs.
