Do you envy your friends who serve fun and fabulous cocktails?
Now you can learn a few mixology tricks of your own. And you can help support good works in our community while you do.
Tyler Alford, known as the “Bar Guy” at Tupelo Honey Café in Charlotte, will show you how at a “mixer” to benefit the Central Carolinas YWCA.
Participants will learn about cocktail history, selecting ingredients, and crafting creative concoctions. The restaurant will provide appetizers and tasteful take-home treats.
The event takes place Saturday, August 9 from 3:30 – 4:30 pm, and is being hosted by the 1902 Society, the young affiliate group that supports the YWCA’s programs. A minimum donation of $10 is suggested. Space is limited, register here.
