2020 is dragging to a close. But even as 2021 fast approaches we must deal with the fallout from the coronavirus which has crippled some businesses, shuttered others and resulted in layoffs and job losses – some of which may become permanent.
Negotiations over a stimulus deal have stalled in Washington. Local businesses are holding their breath in anticipation of more potential restrictions in the state.
And, although a vaccine is rolling out, it will take months for us to feel the impact.
With that as a backdrop, we get an economic update and zoom in on Charlotte’s economy.
