Woman Involved In Fatal Shooting Of Charlotte Man Turns Herself In

A woman police say was involved in the shooting death of a man in northwest Charlotte in December 2017 surrendered Monday morning.

Bria Anansa Shawntia Robinson, 24, has been charged with the murder of Antwain Maurice Price, 39. Joseph Tyrell Abercrombie, 33, was also wanted for Price’s murder. He was arrested in Jacksonville, Florida, May 6. CMPD said it’s still in the process of extraditing Abercrombie and will transfer him to the custody of the Mecklenburg County Jail. Police said they do not know when the transfer will happen.

CMPD responded to a shooting on Thomasboro Drive off Interstate 85 on Dec. 14, 2017. When they arrived on the scene, they found Price suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Robinson is currently in custody at the Mecklenburg County Jail.
