NBA All-Star weekend in Charlotte has come and gone. Fans packed the Spectrum Center Sunday night for the All-Star game, in which Team LeBron beat Team Giannis 178 to 164. The game itself capped off a weekend full of events in Charlotte. An exact number of visitors has not been released, but 150,000 were expected in the city.
Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles said NBA Commissioner Adam Silver praised city officials for how the city handled the weekend.
“He was so complimentary of the way we were able to move people around the city — the way people handled all of the entertainment,” Lyles said. “He had nothing but accolades.”
