Based on Hans Christian Andersen's beloved story and the classic animated film, Disney's The Little Mermaid is a fun and engaging show for the whole family. This expanded version includes all your favorite characters and award winning songs, plus several new musical numbers added for the full length Broadway show. Support local theatre - our cast features talented adult performers, backed by an ensemble of 70 diverse members of our community, ages 5 - 65. Recommended for ages 4 and up, show runs 2 hours, 15 minutes with an intermission

November 13th, 14th, and 15th at 7:30pm and the 16th at 2:00pm.

The Department of Dance presents the Spring Dance Concert, a mixed repertory performance featuring student performers and choreography by dance faculty Audrey Baran, E.E. Balcos, Alyah Baker, and April Turner.

Tickets are $8-$18. CoAA Faculty, Staff, and Students are eligible for free tickets to this performance. Please log into your Niner account in the ticketing system to redeem.

With the houselights down, a man in a chair appears on stage and puts on his favorite record: the cast recording of a fictitious 1928 musical. The recording comes to life and The Drowsy Chaperone begins as the man in the chair looks on. Mix in two lovers on the eve of their wedding, a bumbling best man, a desperate theatre producer, a not-so-bright hostess, two gangsters posing as pastry chefs, a misguided Don Juan and an intoxicated chaperone, and you have the ingredients for an evening of madcap delight.

The journey begins in a wraparound immersive theater, then expands into five themed galleries featuring dozens of interactive stations.

Every contribution helps us provide mentorship for youth, life-skills training for returning citizens, and vital support for families in crisis. How the Gala Supports Our Programs The From Setback to Comeback Gala is more than an evening of inspiration—it is a vital opportunity to fund the programs that change lives every day. Proceeds from the gala will:
Support the Life Restoration Program Provide mental health counseling, mentorship to returning citizens, group counseling sessions, helping them re-enter society with dignity, stability, and hope.
Strengthen the Power, Love & Sound Mind Mentoring Program Empower youth to break cycles of poverty and incarceration through hands-on mentorship, communication and conflict skills, filmmaking workshops, and skills development that foster confidence, leadership.
Expand Community Outreach Enable us to serve more families in crisis, provide resources for emotional healing, and create spaces where transformation can take root.

The spine-tingling gothic horror story The Woman in Black is coming to the Hickory Community Theatre. Performances will be October 17 through November 1 in the Jeffers Theatre.
